Lifetime Stats: Tally Counter

How it is used

Lifetime Stats is a tally counter and habit tracker that never forgets. Name anything you count, tap to add, and the app keeps the whole record: your lifetime total, current and longest streak, best day, and a calendar of every day since you started.

Books read, miles run, laps swum, cups of coffee, days without a drink. Your count never resets: every day stays, from the day you started.

COUNT WITH ONE TAP

Each tap adds 1, or any amount you choose, like +5 pages. You feel a light buzz with every count and can turn on a tick sound too. Tapped by mistake? Tap Undo.

COUNT MODE: THE WHOLE SCREEN IS THE BUTTON

Tap anywhere on the screen, or use either volume key, to count without looking. Your screen stays on while you count. Set a daily goal of 100 and you get a strong buzz and a sound each time you reach it, at 100, 200, 300, and on.

EVERY DAY AT A GLANCE

A calendar heatmap shows every day from your first one, with your totals for this week, this month, and this year, plus your streaks, best day, and days recorded.

TWO HOME SCREEN WIDGETS

Pick a tracker for each widget when you place it: a small 1x1 square with today's count and a + button, or a larger one that adds your streak and lifetime total. Count from your home screen without opening the app.

REMINDERS AT THE MINUTE YOU PICK

Turn on a daily reminder for any tracker at the hour and minute you choose. Allow Alarms & reminders for the app and it arrives right on time. Each reminder has a + button, so you can count straight from the notification.

BRING YOUR HISTORY WITH YOU

A new tracker takes just a name and, if you like, a daily goal. Started years ago? Open Edit, pick your real start date, and enter about how many so far. That total is spread evenly from your start date to yesterday, so you start with years of record instead of a blank page.

COUNT WHAT YOU WANT LESS OF

Pick "less is better" and your daily number becomes a limit. A day at or under it keeps your streak going, and a jump up shows as a loss, not a win.

FIX YOUR RECORD ANYTIME

Take one off, set the total for any past day, or clear today. Let a streak survive up to 7 missed days, and start your day as late as 6 AM if you're up past midnight. Clearing today and archiving can both be undone, and trackers are never deleted: an archived one keeps its history and comes back from Settings.

MILESTONES WORTH SHARING

Your first entry earns a milestone card, and so do the big numbers after it. Share one in a couple of taps.

YOUR TRACKER NAMES AND TOTALS ARE NEVER SENT TO US

No account and no sign-up. Your counts are stored on your phone. If Google backup is on for your phone, your counts are included in it. For a second copy, export everything to a CSV file and import it back later. Importing only adds the days your record is missing, so nothing you've counted gets replaced.

ADS AND PRIVACY

Lifetime Stats contains ads: one small banner at the bottom of your tracker list. The ads come from Google AdMob and from ZaparoAds, our own ad network, and Google uses your phone's advertising ID to show them. Where the law requires it, you choose how ads are personalized, and you can change that in Settings. Nothing in the app is for sale. We get crash reports and usage data, like which buttons get tapped, so we can fix bugs and improve the app. Usage data never includes your totals or your tracker names.
