Lumi: Firefly Climb

How to play

Lumi is a one-tap arcade climbing game you can play offline. You're a firefly climbing up the inside of a hollow tree at night, and you tap to wall jump to the other side. Dodge the thorns, slip past the moths, grab the dewdrops, and see how high you can climb before your hearts run out.

ONE TAP, TWO WALLS

Lumi climbs on its own. The climb speeds up over its first few minutes, then holds at top speed. Thorns stick out of both walls, so every tap is a choice: stay where you are or jump across. Moths flutter back and forth through the middle, right where you cross. You start with 3 hearts. A thorn or a moth costs you a heart, and every heart you pick up gives one back, up to 5.

CLOSE CALLS BUILD YOUR COMBO

Leave a wall just before its thorn reaches you and it's a close call. Close calls and dewdrops raise your combo multiplier, up to ×5, so everything you collect after that is worth more. One hit and the combo is gone. The big scores go to players who cut it close and still don't get touched.

FOUR LEVELS, THEN AN ENDLESS NIGHT

Climb from the Roots through the Hollow and up into the Canopy, each level faster and tighter than the last. Level 4, Night sky, never ends. Stay alive up there as long as you can.

A WEEKLY LEAGUE YOU CAN WIN

Each week you're placed in a league group of 10, ranked by your best climb of the week. When the week ends, the top 3 move up a league and the bottom 3 move down. In a group that small, first place is within reach. There's also an all-time Top 10 leaderboard, where everyone climbs for the same ten places.

CHALLENGE A FRIEND

After a climb, tap Challenge a friend and share the link. Your friend flies the exact same climb, thorn for thorn, and has to beat your score. If they don't have Lumi yet and install it from your link, the challenge is waiting for them when they open the game.

SCORES ARE CHECKED

Every climb you send is replayed on our server before it counts toward the leaderboard or your league, so a faked score can't get on the board.

• First Flight: finish your first climb
• Morning Dew and Dew Hoarder: 10 dewdrops in one climb, 500 in total
• Close Shave: your first close call
• Thread the Needle and Daredevil: 5 and 10 close calls without a hit in between
• Off the Ground and High Flier: 100 m and 500 m in one climb
• Untouched: reach level 3 without a hit
• Starbound: reach Night sky, level 4
• Lit Up and Supernova: score 1,000 and 5,000 in one climb
• Gauntlet Thrown: send your first challenge
• Giant Slayer: beat a friend's challenge
• Moving Up: move up a league Every achievement you unlock comes with a card you can share.

TWO LOOKS

Climb in Forest, a green glow in the night woods, or switch to Frost, all icy blue, in Settings.

NOTIFICATIONS ONLY WHEN IT MATTERS

Lumi sends 2 kinds of notifications: your place in your weekly league, a few hours before it ends, and a note when a friend beats your challenge. Nothing else, and you can turn off each kind in Settings.

PLAY YOUR WAY

• No Wi-Fi? You can still play. Climbs you start offline stay on your phone and don't count toward the leaderboard or your league.
• Sound, music, vibration, and motion each have their own switch, and volume, music, and sound effects each have a slider.
• The music and sound effects were made for Lumi.
• Play in English or Turkish.

PLAY AS A GUEST

Start right away as a guest. Sign in with Google or email anytime, and your Zaparo ID keeps your league and your leaderboard place when you switch phones. In Settings, you can delete your data from this app anytime. Your Zaparo ID and your other Zaparo apps aren't affected.

ADS, BUT NOTHING TO BUY

Lumi is free, and nothing in it is for sale: no coins, no hearts to buy, no subscription. An ad may show on the Game over screen after a climb, never while you're climbing. The ads come from ZaparoAds, our own ad network.
